RKA Consulting Group is proud to have provided design and construction management services for the 2015 (FY 2021-2022) Metro Call Major Streets Project in the City of Pomona, which was named a 2022 APWA Project of the Year by the Southern California Chapter.
 
The $9.9 million project introduced "Complete Street" improvements citywide, including paving restoration, pedestrian upgrades, and a bi-directional Class IV cycle track along Valley Boulevard near the Cal Poly Pomona campus. Innovative strategies like full depth reclamation minimized disruption and supported material reuse, while RKA’s grant and reimbursement management ensured fiscal efficiency. We thank the City of Pomona and all partners for their collaboration on this award-winning effort.
