RKA Consulting Group is proud to announce that the Las Flores Park Aquatic Center Renovation, completed for the City of La Verne, has been recognized as a 2024 APWA Project of the Year by the Southern California Chapter. This award celebrates excellence in public works projects that demonstrate innovation, collaboration, and community impact.
 
The renovation project transformed the existing aquatic facility into a modern, inclusive space featuring new decking, shade structures, replastering, updated lighting, and energy-efficient pool equipment. RKA provided comprehensive design and construction management services, ensuring the project met the highest standards of quality and accessibility.
 
This achievement reflects the successful partnership between the City of La Verne, Assemblymember Chris Holden, the Bonita Unified School District, and the University of La Verne. The revitalized Aquatic Center now serves as a vital community hub for recreation, training, and events.
