The Terraces in Walnut is a residential development totaling over 220,000 square feet and 142 dwelling units. The project includes shared amenities such as community parks and separate commercial buildings. RKA provided comprehensive Building & Safety plan check services on behalf of the City of Walnut, including structural, architectural, MEP, energy, and accessibility review. The project was submitted in multiple phases to align with an accelerated construction schedule. RKA coordinated closely with the design team and City staff to address an aggressive construction schedule requiring a resident inspector. Plan reviews were completed using Bluebeam, with timely corrections to support permit issuance. RKA continues to provide review services for changes in design of units and model homes.
